A blog exercise.

Please read the following, and then try to picture my current emotional state:

1. It's October 12th.

2. It's snowing.

  1. What good is global warming if it's not getting warmer?

    Someone dropped the ball.

  2. Are you fucking kidding me? It's in the 80s here.

  3. Unfortunately, I am not fucking kidding. I took my kids to the pediatrician this morning, and when we left, it was snowing. As we headed to school, it turned to hail. Pop Rocks-sized, not mothball- or golf ball-sized, but still.

  5. Be grateful you do not reside 8 hours north in the U.P. It's about ten degrees colder and I had to scrap ice and snow off of my car this morning using my student ID. I'm actually looking foward to the "mild" conditions of IL I will be coming home to this weekend.

  7. Poppisma - I am so, so, so sorry.

My mother and step-dad were in the UP this weekend for a color tour and came home early..."There's not much color in snow, now, is there?"

It's blustering wind and gale here. But I'll bet that doesn't make you feel better.

  8. Wow. Makes it kinda hard to complain about the rain here. Guess I'll keep my grumblies to myself.

  9. Oh, I'd kill for a little snow right now. It's no fun living in the South.

  10. As you might guess, I feel your pain. Also, check out my teaser blog. Long story but I think maybe I shouldn't have given my winter coats to the First Pres Rummage Sale.

I saw the Pop Rocks-sized(perfect term!)hail on my car when I came out of Target. It was snow-covered hail. Kinda cute but weird.
