NaBloPoMo 21: Same Thing, But Different

I don't see any reason to type in anything about Thanksgiving.

Mind you, we're still in the planning stages. But honestly, so little has changed. We're having exactly the same people, and pretty much the same menu.

And? Another broken dishwasher, just when I'm going to have a truckload of dishes to wash.

Can you feel the whining tonight?

  1. I think I'd have to go with the paper plates with the pictures of a turkey on them.

  2. I like the idea of a day in which to be grateful, but I just don't get how you folks deal with two feasty-celebrations in the space of a month.

Can't they move Thanksgiving to April and give you all a break before Christmas?

  3. Here's my suggestion:

Find two homeless people who will do dishes for food. I just loaded the dishwasher to the brim and there are at least 1-2 loads DH and the girls are doing.

I found the answer to Thanksgiving bliss: keep the guys out of the kitchen and mix Godiva with Chambord.

    Happy on the west coast.

  4. Hey, I don't have a dishwasher that works either! I keep thinking it builds character, but no, it just builds mounds of dirty dishes!
