If he were alive today, Keats would write an Ode to my MacBook

Guess what the UPS man brought today?

Thou, silent form, dost tease us out of thought
As doth eternity: Cold Pastoral!
When old age shall this generation waste,
Thou shalt remain, in midst of other woe
Than ours, a friend to man, to whom thou say'st,
"Beauty is truth, truth beauty," - that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.

  1. Woot! My Mac sends love to its twin, now in your good hands. Until you drop it.

  3. She dwells with Laptops--Laptops that must crash

Was it a vision, or a waking dream?
Fled is that ITunes:--do I shut my computer down, or put it to sleep?

How is it, MacBook! that I knew ye not?
How came ye bubble-wrapped in so hush a UPS box?
Was it a silent deep-disguised plot by Steve Jobs
To steal away, and leave without a task,
My idle days? eating bonbons and surfing the Net?
