I also hate Apple

I probably wasted 45 minutes writing a hilarious--no, really--report on last night's party. Complete with pictures.

And then? Safari crashed. And kept crashing every time I tried to start it up again.

And Blogger? You also suck. Because where's that auto-save draft doohickey you've been bragging about?

  1. Safari's your problem...blogger and Safari don't work well together.
    Firefox.
But Blogger does suck - not only has that auto-draft thing not worked for me but spell check has been inoperable for a week.

  2. I've had this problem with the latest version of Safari as well. Lots of sites have started making it crash. I'm about to give up on it and go to Firefox once and for all.

  3. I've never heard of Safari, but I do love my Firefox.

  5. That happened to me once, pre-"save draft" and it fouled my mood for a month.

  6. I switched from Safari to Firefox on my Mac, and it's better. However, I just heard about another browser for Macs called Camino, and it's supposed to be faster than Firefox, so you may want to check it out.

  7. Yeah WTF with spell check!!? I thought it was my computer being stupid or something. I am a big Firefox fan *most* of the time. But sometimes... it just sucks. But it's still not as bad as IE.

  8. Poppy, I say screw the cookies, fuck the Apple, and bring on the wine.

  9. Everyone but Ree,

The spell check has been non-existent, but the thing that has really pissed me off is the loss of the draft-saving abilities--and this was with my HP laptop runnings Windows 98, so what's up with that, hunh, Blogger?

I just downloaded Firefox. In fact, I'm using it now. Can't you tell? I'm managing to post this comment.

(storms off giving Safari the finger.)

  10. Well, I was going to say what Blackbird and Ree said but I see it's too late.

I will add that I'm comforted by the fact that I'm not the only one. Safari dies on me all the time. And Blogger? FEH!
