We interrupt this series of trip reports for a brief announcement

I'm still in Salisbury, but in about an hour I'll be boarding a bus to take me to Heathrow and home.

I'm sorry to leave England.

But I'm not sorry to not be drinking English coffee.

  2. You didn't become a tea convert while you were there?

Shame, shame :). (shakes her head)

  3. I think they make it bad so you have to drink the tea. Passive aggressive monarchists...

  8. Oh, yes, some English people make horrid coffee. It offends me as much as it offends you, believe me, and I'm English. But some Americans make bad tea, so I think we're even. Don't tar us all with the same brush.

Next time, go to a part of the England I know and I'll tell you where to go if you want to drink something.

  9. 'the England'?

I didn't mean to type that. That just sounds weird.
