Like feminism, hair color is about choices.
There is so much pressure on women to continue to look young and hot by any means possible, and that's just wrong. We have a few other things on our minds, OK? I mean, even I do, and I blog about lipstick.
Here's the deal: since the majority of women are now coloring their hair, chances are that if you think you look great with gray hair, you do. So enjoy it.
But if you do choose to color your hair, please--I'm begging you--don't do it like a rock star:

On the other hand, I have a recurrent nightmare where I look into my bathroom mirror, and Ronnie Woods looks back.
I will take on where you left off next week... Ron Wood is a total loser. His ex Jo is the nicest person around and I don't know how she put up with him and his drinking. Haha -- so true! I find that softer, more natural looking colors (especially with both high and lowlights rather than a solid color) truly are more flattering on me as I get older, as much as I love severe black and outrageous brights.
